What to expect

The first step is to talk to the psychologist in an assessment session. This is where the psychologist will gain an understanding of what’s going on for you and how the problem developed. The psychologist will share their understanding with you and develop a treatment plan to work towards your goals.

The psychologist will discuss this treatment plan with you. It will outline the areas of growth and skills development that you will work on together to help you regain your wellbeing and happiness. This may involve weekly, fortnightly, or less frequent sessions depending on your needs and preferences. The ultimate goal is building skills and developing resilience so you can manage life’s ups and downs…for life.
